Tonight's astrophotography conditions vary widely across the country. The Southeast offers the strongest viewing opportunities, with Atlanta scoring an excellent 98/100 and Charlotte near-perfect at 95/100, both featuring minimal cloud cover. The Rockies also show promise, especially in Cheyenne and Billings, each rated excellent with scores of 84/100 and low cloud cover. The Midwest has pockets of excellent conditions in Milwaukee, Chicago, and Indianapolis, but many cities like Minneapolis and Des Moines face poor scores due to heavy clouds and rain. The Great Plains are mixed, with Wichita excellent at 84/100 but Fargo and Sioux Falls rated poor. The Southwest and Pacific Northwest struggle with mostly poor conditions, marked by high cloud cover and occasional rain, while the Northeast is largely unfavorable with widespread cloudiness and rain.
