Rockies Lead with Excellent Astrophotography Conditions
Tonight's best astrophotography conditions are concentrated in the Rockies and Southwest regions. Denver and Salt Lake City both score near-perfect with 99 and 96 respectively, offering excellent viewing with no cloud cover or rain. Albuquerque and Las Vegas also provide excellent opportunities with minimal clouds and excellent visibility. The Midwest and Southeast show generally good conditions, with Minneapolis and Nashville scoring well, though some cities like Columbus and Charlotte have poor ratings due to higher cloud cover and rain chances. The Pacific Northwest faces the most challenging conditions, with Seattle and Spokane rated poor due to heavy cloud cover and rain. Northeast conditions are mixed, with Boston and New York offering fair to good conditions, while Washington, DC and Albany rate poorly.
